On this episode, we dive back into the world of Joseph Smith to find out how the Book of Mormon came to life. From persecution in Palmyra, to haraguing in Harmony, to flim-flamming in Fayette, Joe moves wherever he can find sanctuary to "translate" in peace. We've covered where the content in the BoM might have come from, but not how it actually came to life. The time period from Joe getting the plates in 1827, up to mid 1829, faces the white hot light of scrutiny in this mother lode of history, and textual analysis.

On this episode, we take a look at the View of the Hebrews (Circa 1823) theory for the authorship of the Book of Mormon. But, the fun doesn't stop there. Where else can we possibly look for possible source material? The KJV Bible? Local maps? Textbooks from the early 19th century? All of the above? Let's just see how original the Big Bad BoM is....
