The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has been around for almost two centuries. It has ebbed and fluctuated in such a predictably adaptive manner throughout it's relatively short life in the religious realm. This Church has a very sordid past, which it does a very good job of teaching for itself, whether the history is slanted or not, is yours to decide. Join me on a journey through the history of the LDS Church through the eyes of the people that were actually there. We will learn about the founding members, where the practices came from, where the Book of Mormon (Mormon Bible) came from, and most importantly, we will examine Joseph Smith in every aspect possibly available to us today.

On this episode, we take a very critical look at some of the more famous

talks given by the late Boyd K. Packer. Hopefully no listeners hold

any preference to Packer, because we tear down every possible aspect

of this homophobic, mysoginistic's bully pulpit preaching. It gets

personal, so strap in, and get ready for some fucked up,

disconnected-from-reality bullshit from this rotting corpse.

  • I'm listening to your apology at the beginning of the next podcast and I just want to say that I don't think you were hard enough on the Packer. In that one talk where Packer was reading letters from people, (feminist, gay activist, etc) there are long and extensive back stories to those letters. At least one of these people he had met with personally and knew personally. What he did in that talk wasn't just be insensitive to their issues, what he did was utterly betrayed them publicly. HE IS AN UNFORGIVABLE FUCK! I thought about leaving a comment a few weeks ago about it but let it go. But when you mentioned it again in the next podcast I decided I wanted to say something about it.
